JEAN EL TANNIR AND PERIHAN ARPACILAR
Exhibition: Feb 6th - Mar 9th 2014
Opening: Feb 5th, 7 pm
Jean el Tannir is a Belgian artist with Down's syndrome who has worked at Atelier Creahm, a studio in Liege, where he created his astonishing ceramics, shown here for the fist time.
Perihan Arpacilar has been with Atelier Goldstein since 2010. In her younger years, she studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach. Her monotypes are pastose transfers of
fresh paint. The fragmented and mask-like impressions they leave on paper are often sombre and mysterious.
